About the Client

With 125 years of history and 25 million people to look after, our customer is one of the largest health insurance providers in Germany.

Business Challenge

Understanding that the new generation of digital native customers requires a different engagement model, our client decided to build a digital rewards platform promoting healthy lifestyle in order to engage people and reduce future claim costs.


BULPROS built a team of 35 experts, including Project Managers and Infrastructure Architects. The project was delivered following a complex adapted Agile Scrum process with multiple Product Owners at the customer’s side and multiple Project Managers coordinating several teams.

BULPROS developed and currently supports an online and mobile (iOS and Android) platform covering end-to-end digital business processes that:

  • Allows members to collect points when doing sports (automatically through mobile device sensors, assisted and manual entry possible)
  • Enables redeeming points for products from an online store
  • Encourages healthy lifestyle habits and offers in return rewards/reduction in the annual health insurance costs
