DevOps Engineer (SAP CLM)
Role Description
– DB Ops activities – execution of regular tasks on the databases (perform new DB releases validation and rollout, handle issues with automated periodic tasks execution like locked DBs for other maintenance activities, configuration of different settings and integration with other services,…)
– Create and execute scripts to help with regular DB ops activities
– Execution of service requests
– Maintain dev environment – regular updates, help with support and handling issues
– Regular test execution during the test cycle validation
– Automation of test execution via scripts
– Help with support issues, where OS access and basic unix knowledge is required
Role Requirements
Database administration
Linux system administration and troubleshooting capabilities.
Unix-based scripting languages like Shell, Bash, etc.
Jenkins administration/monitoring
Version management tools like GIT.
Understanding of modern cloud/web architectures
Experience working in Agile based development/devops team
Affinity to quickly analyze and solve problems in a worldwide team setup
Working efficiently in emergency situations
Good communication skills – precise, based on facts
Fluent in English
Desirable:
Basic Knowledge of Java
Object-Oriented Programming Concepts
